I am looking for review material for the upcoming October 20th test date. Could someone please point me to where I might find it? thanks

The written test offered by the city of Sacramento is pretty generic. There are a multitude of books you can buy both on line and in book stores specific to law enforcement exams. Most tests are multiple choice with categories in reading comprehension, writing skills, vocabulary, spelling and writing an essay. You can go to www.post.ca.gov to obtain a practice exam. These are standard throughout the state.
If you are asking for study materials for the oral exam, you can go to our web site at www.sacpd.org and obtain information about our city including our chain of command, information on city officials including the Mayor and City Manager, population, number of sworn officers on our department and other pertinent information that will help you in your oral interview.
