Hello, I was curious if the Sacramento police department regards a GED in the same manner as they would a high school diploma?
Do the first interviewers more look at the candidate’s traits and past, rather than if he or she has a high school diploma or GED?
This question would be involving a person with an associates degree or higher as required.Thank you for your time.

According to the requirements for Police Officer with the Sacramento Police Department, you may have either a GED or high school diploma. During the interview process, the interviewers do not look into your past. That normally occurs during the background process. The interviewers focus more on how well you present yourself and answer the questions. Certainly, higher education will benefit you in our process.
