Sacramento Police Department Hires a New K-9
Meet the Sacramento Police Department’s newest officer. He is hairier than the average officer and walks on all fours. His name is “Rollo”, and he is a Dutch Shepherd. 
His partner and handler is Officer Linda Matthew, who happens to be the Sacramento Police Department’s first female K-9 handler. Both Rollo and Officer Matthew completed a 4-month training course. Rollo is cross-trained in patrol work, narcotics, tracking and evidence/article searching.
