i have had my car for 3 yrs since i bought it. i recently got pulled over in san diego for tinted windows. i explained to officer i had no idea my wndows were breaking the law. i assumed he would give me a fixer ticket but instead he came back and said i was just never caught. i want to fight this ticket and i have court in 2 days. Do i have a chance on this?

Although I can’t interpret what the officer was trying to say when he cited you for tinted windows or what your particular situation is, the California Vehicle Code 26708a is clear in stating what is legal or not in regards to tinted windows.
