I will be attending a modular formatted police academy starting in January. I was wondering if my chances of being hired as a police officer are lessened my attending a modular police academy as apposed to a full time academy.

Dear odiebrodie1,

If you would like to become a full-time police officer, it would be better for you to attend a full-time police academy and become fully POST certified.  Otherwise, modular academies are like taking the long route.
