what does my wife need to do to get her son back from his father in oregan? She has a court order that the son lives with her and his father has visitation. The father moved out of state and has not pitioned the court to change his visitation. How can my wife get the son back.

I’m sorry to hear about this. Matters involving children like this can be so heartbreaking. Your wife needs to speak to her attorney. I don’t know what the court order says. I don’t know if the father was ordered not to take the child out of state, or if he has permission. Each court order is different and I have no way of knowing without reading it. If the father is not abiding by the order, he would be in violation of a judge’s court order. That is why it is important for your wife to contact her attorney. It sounds like the order needs to be amended.
