Hello,

I am currently employed as a police officer in Stockton. I live in the Sacramento area and would like to lateral to a department closer to home. I heard that Sac PD will be hiring in the near future. I was hoping that I would be able to get in contact with someone from the recruiting department to obtain more information.

Dear ljohnson83

Sac PD is currently closed on its application process.  We will be opening the application again sometime in January so keep an eye on the City’s website.  You can apply online when we open.  We have a written test as well as an interview process for all applicants.
