My name is Allogan. I will be turning 18 on February 28, next month. I will be graduated in May and was wondering if I meet the minimum requirements for the CSO position and go into the Sac PD Academy. I see on the job posting that you have to be 18 yrs old by time of appointment for the CSO and have a diploma or ged.I will also be enrolled in the 12 unit minimum. I will meet all of those requirements by the middle of May. So would I be able to apply and go through the process? Your time is appreciated.

Dear Allogan,

As long as you meet the minimum requirements that are in our guidelines by the time the Academy starts in July, then you are eligible for the academy.
