I run a small computer repair business from my home and I seem to have attracted a disturbed person from Craigslist, he is not one of my customers but I do know his name. I get around 100 prank phone calls a day on my land-line as well as my cell. Is there anything sacpd can do to help me???

You should file a report online at http://www.sacpd.org/reports/fileonline/harassment/. It sounds like this guy has a mental problem and a lot of time on his hands if he’s calling you 100 times a day! If it gets to the point where he is threatening you, you could file a “terrorist threats” report. Of course, it there is any immediate threat or danger, you should call 911. The fact that you know his name is a bonus. You would list him as a suspect. The police would investigate and send it forward to the District Attorney’s Office. If you have a tape of him from an answering machine making threats, you could use that as evidence as well. Good luck.
