Hi Officer Michelle,I noticed that new traffic cameras were recently installed at the interesection of Power Inn Rd. and Folsom Blvd. Are the cameras operational yet? I haven’t noticed much of a decrease yet in scofflaws running the light creating dangerous driving conditions.
Dear chilibar22,
The red light cameras are overseen by the Sheriff’s Department including at intersections in the city of Sacramento. It was planned that some new cameras in new locations would be operational by the end of October, however any specific questions regarding red light cameras would need to be directed to the Sheriff’s Department for accurate answers.
