Officers Investigate Fatal Traffic Accident
On Monday October 23, 2006, at 7:50 p.m., the Sacramento Police Department responded to a single car vehicle accident at the Arden-Garden Connector that killed an unidentified 20 year-old female Hispanic.
The Sacramento Police Department’s Major Collision Investigative Team responded to the scene to conduct investigation. Investigators believe that a silver 1986 4 door BMW was traveling west on the Arden-Garden Connector when the vehicle lost control and struck a light standard. The driver died instantly. Based on a witness statement, investigators believe that speed may have contributed to the accident.
